Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.

The war beyond my eyes soon keeps
Death consumes its countless lives
So many times our eyes do weep
Fighting till the victor won we strive

Abundance of men with arms they bear
Line by line they seem willing to fight
To which all love and charity no longer care
From which gruesome combat elects the night

The earth stained red from souls of war
As trees and shrubs take watch the fields
The scent of battle knocks to your door
Though human struggles can't pierce nature's shield

To which does war restore human life
For war only snares good men from thier wives

War is probably my least favorite thing to study about in class. Too much blood and death is talked about. I do appreciate waht all our service men and women have done for us. I too have family that served in war. I just wish we had other options than war :)
