Memories lie
In the corner of my mind
Waiting for me
Cruel and blind

Unfortunately
They wonder my head
As I try to find refuge
In my bed

My eyes flutter close
Preparing for sleep
But still, the nightmares
Dig deep

Are these signs of depression?
I don’t know
Whatever it is
The memories continue to flow
