"You laugh at me because I'm different. I laugh at you because you're all the same," Jonathan Davis

My patient waiting has surpassed months, years,
Watching the colors of the earth fading,
As days and nights pass but not without tears,
Until there is not left but a simple black and white making,

Yet, I still wait for the pure, white-winged dove,
To end the misery and save us all,
With majestic rays of peace and love,
Here I silently wait to hear her call,

So, I wait but certainly not in vain,
Yet, still my hateful world remains this way,
And so continues the rush of grisly pain,
But, times will come to be better someday,

Yet, the dove I have never come to see,
Unless perhaps the dove lives on in me,

The world may argue about many things, but we all truly want peace. Don't you agree?

Anyway. this is quite a lovely poem, i especially liked the ending, like we can only have peace if we ourselves try, not wait for someone else:)
