While the rich eat on fancy china plates
The poor will struggle to find food at all
While the rich look upon the poor with hate
Like the short looking upon the tall
While the rich go out and buy the cool sport cars
The poor can barely afford to take the bus
While the rich go to the expensive bars
The poor will drink water without a fuss
If their food gets up and walks away
If they are hungry for the first time
They can just wake up the very next day
And eat breakfast for less than a dime
But they will never have anything more
Than the love that can’t be lost by the poor
