My Father

You tell me I've been inconsiderate
That I neglected you
But I know you lies
I know what you do

You are the problem
You were never there
Thinking of yourself
And filling me with despair

Whether it is truth or lies
It does not matter
Love is what you do
And you made my heart shatter

Your suppose the to lead
Make me strong
Give me advice
And show me right from wrong

And now because of him
I am strong
I have my leader
I know right from wrong

He is my father
And he makes me shine
I am forever his
And he is forever mine

The author's comments:
Proverbs 22:6 Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.

For a friend. Which could be you.
