If I would stop and look at the night sky
Is there any star out there I would find?
That would compare to the shine in her eyes
Or would the stars give me another sign
One that would make me question how I felt
One that would make me see her different
One that might even make me fall and melt
At the thought that I would not smell her scent
But if that star did not shine like I think
Would I know that she’s the one in my dreams?
At the sight would my heart begin to sink?
Imagining what lay beyond those seams
But I do know that if I never try
That I will never live, to ever die
