Friendship is like a flourishing flower
They start as buds and grow, it is their task
They soon start changing you, they have power
Why is friendship so important you ask ?

There is always someone to stand by you
A second opinion you can trust
But when problems arise, what will we do ?
Will our flower grow tall or turn to dust ?

If I lose you I would have no support
Feel lonely as a speck in a clear sky
If we do unite will our time be short ?
Or never speak to each other and die ?

We will unite our bond, forget the past
Fertilizing each other so we last

What inspired me to write this piece was the previous experience I had had with a close friend. At first we were really close and then we started having problems and thankfully we surpassed the problems and our friendship stayed strong. I hope people will learn that friendship is like a flower hard times will come and go but you have to maintain your friendship strong.
