As the papers turn in my book of life a new chapter starts,

Completely foreign to my soul and filling up my heart,

With thoughts of uncertainty and why my future will hold,

As all my friends and relatives all tell me I am growing so old,

As the sunsets behind my head I shake my leaders hand,

The person that kept me in line so I could make this day so grand,

As they call my name they say all the the things I have achieved,

While I glass across the spectators and watch my mother grieve,

What's ahead of me in do not know but my past will put me their,

I'm glad I paid attention to detail and showed respect and care
