what’s it like?
it’s like a warm summer night
with the cicadas humming along with the breeze.
it’s like ice cold water
after a long run.
it’s the way a shower feels
after a long day.
it’s how hot coffee warms
cold hands in the early morning.
what’s it like loving him?
it’s feeling all the pain ease away.
