My Petalls are Withering

My petals are withering
I am becoming fatigued
Enthusiasm, which once ran through my veins just a few short years ago
Are now the Sahara desert
After 17 years with her
I feel as though it's time to move away
My once beautiful rosebud which was fresh and new
Awaiting to emerge into a fragrant flower has died
I sit here in the vase
Wilted
Hopeless
With my petals withering
