Dear Child

Child with no safe home

Going from family to family

As the weeks go on

Dear Child

Child who is scared of tomorrow

Counting down the days and hours

restarting when you get to a new place

Dear Child

Child who only talks to their case worker more than thier foster family

No foster family has ever heard you speak

So they assume you are mute

Dear child

Child who cries when they get to a new home

Not knowing what will happen

The unknown scares you

Dear child

Child with abandonment issues

Who thinks awful thoughts

thoughts like "who could ever love a orphan kid?"

@Dallask7 This is so sad, but true. I could relate to this since I used to live with my mother's family. Then I moved in with my dad's house which was really hard for since I didn't get to know them much. Awesome job and God bless you for your gift! :)
