"It's Only Rock and Roll But I Like It"

Pearl Jam, AC/DC,
And Queen
make me feel,
invincible.
Jimmy Page’s double-necked guitar,
David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust,
Bono’s sunglasses;
bring a smile to my face.
Joy. Happiness.
Envy, and excitement, that someday,
that could be me.
There are hair bands like Cinderella and Poison,
old bands, like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones,
new bands, like Foo Fighters and Them Crooked Vultures.
They make me feel good,
like I can take over the world.
Its only rock and roll,
but I like it.
