Do you know you glow?
Do you care?
Maybe it’s just life.
Seems nice. Simple.
Is it really?
Or do things just look brighter
on your side of the bell jar?

The other night, when I decided to write a poem, I had aquariums on the brain. Since jellyfish have always been one of my favorite things to be found at any aquarium, one became the subject of the piece I wrote.
