Everytime she looks up from
her besties Ben & Jerry,
The weatherman is smiling
But his eyes are lost and his voice his dead
Another rainy day ahead, he says
Again? She groans
It is a muddy Sunday morning:
The sun is hiding
and the birds aren't chirping.
Her eyes are too puffy
Another spoonful of chocolatey goodness
She wonders when he'll call.
