Today we walk the line with our heads held high.
As we sit here and listen well, we hear our neighbors, friends, and families yell.
One by one our names are called; our hearts simply want to bawl.
We each receive one piece of paper that we’ll save for later.
Finally we walk outside and throw our caps into the sky!
We’ve been educated and now we have graduated.
