Writers become writers because they are
comfortable alone. Out of that silence emerges
a kind of music that doesn’t need screaming fans

How do you find the sun in a cloudy sky?
How do you find the good in goodbye?
How can you live life through someone else’s eyes?
Curiosity empowers my thoughts as I sit here blankly at the wall.
I ask myself these questions only to realize that there is no answer,
No answer or clarity, just confusion searching through my mind.
Time after time, wrong after wrong, never does it end,
With these innuendos of what life really is.
Love turns to heartbreak and hurt,
Friends turn into strangers who turn their back to you.
Struggle lingers as seconds turn into minutes that turn into hours, days to months.
Present becomes past, and you still sit there and ask yourself these questions,
How do you find peace in a war?
How do you find love through hate?
How do you find sight in a fog?
It’s just an endless tunnel.
So I close my eyes, taking myself to a world where everything is just fine.
