For what its worth...
he says he's sorry
he says its all his fault
and that he'll never do it again

For what its worth...
to keep her pride
she says its not enough
and that she needs more
then just his remorse

For what its worth...
he tries again
to win her heart back over
with every failing attempt
his faith got stronger

For what its worth...
he won her heart
just a little to late
only to lose his
to the angel of death

For what its worth...
her pride now means nothing
what she's left with is only
regret of the time not spent

For what its worth...

this was inspired by a poem i recently read on this site and its sorta a response to it. i would also like people to take out of this that time is to short to waste with hate and to seize every moment.

Your poem made me cry. I loved the message in it

What a lovely message! The poem itself was very well written. I personally felt that it was too short, but my poems are normally short as well, so that's just a matter of opinion. All in all, I loved it!
