The Grim is Coming

He watches over all, waiting for our fall
He is the shadow, in turn to follow
Our death sentence we must swallow
But some can see him and some cannot
He is the whispering wind in a silent home
He is the answer to your call,
When no one is home
He is the icy touch to the door
He is Death beckoning for more
No mercy has he, no mercy for we
In the night it is his fright
He will do what he thinks is right
Little children see him well
Old men know his tale
Young fools try to escape with running
Silly fools, you can't defy when the Grim is coming
