A Place To Keep My Thoughts

Locked up from untrained eyes.
Somewhere safe and secret.
Only I have the key
because only I can see the real thoughts.
The others get a different version.
No one is allowed into my secret space
for my thoughts alone.
Files filled with
wishes and dreams.
Bookcases filled with
memories.
All kept away from the judging,
concerned eyes of society.
No one to criticize me,
hurt me, wound me.
Just somewhere to be
Alone with my thoughts.
