Hear it
The sound of muffled sobs
As she cries into her pillow
Even behind closed doors
The noise echos
Heart wrenching and depressing
See it
A hand protecting its heart
So tender and vulnerable
To one person cast aside
Each beat it like torture
Sending more pain
Feel it
A cold in your chest
And a constriction in your throat
The warmth of tears falling from your eyes
A pain in your heart
And a stabbing in your soul
Sorrow
