Innocence is Bliss?
Uncountable times when precious tears escape
Resonating words that leave perpetual meaning
The innocent wins, how wretched.
There is bliss in virtue but it tends to smolder
An unintelligent plague adds shadows to a black room
Unknown affliction leaves a dark footprint.
A damsel in distress, how elegant an appearance
To cloud the minds of sinners who stroke the surface
A punishment for the clever.
Or is it that the innocent is the cleverest of them all?
