Life is a Carousel
First time on the carrousel,
The scene is new
I’m young and life is moving fast,
The nature around me changes quickly,
Seasons going in a blur, as I go from high to low
As the years slow to a steady pace,
The scene is the same, over and over
Then the sun shining up bright and happy,
After a time, the people on the ride feel like family
Then sun grays and dulls,
As the ride presses on
The scene may mangle and shuffle to a stop
Restarting just like rain, as my loved ones fall off in front of me
I long for the nature I used to see,
Passing by so quickly, quickly as the wind
Then the world, it stops turning by,
That proves it to be that my ride is done
