On that that warm June day
That wouldn't turn out well
All of the family gathered
And the sadness dispelled

He was really doing it
No turning back now
He was joining the Army
He would be a hero...Wow

The adults tried to hide it
Not let the kids see them cry
But we all knew what was happening
So we all thought... Why?

His sweet scent of Axe
with the hugs that he gave me
I love My Hero
My brother, Dusty
