A pretty face
A silent smile
A perfect shape
A great life
The make-up
The piercings
The clothes
The silent crys for help
At night the crying
At night the cutting
At night the screams
At night wishing someone would hear
You fool them all
You don't want to
You smile for others
You have no real reason for sadness
And yet you are
And yet you can't come to say it
And yet you let it continue
And yet you need happiness
Hoping someone will hear
Hoping for a hug
Hoping for a prince
To take the silent pain away
