Twirling and spinning,
Portraying all emotion.
Passion and love,
Verses
Heartache and hurting.
Reaching and pulling,
Connecting each movement.
Sinuous movements,
Verses
Sharp attacks.
This is the freedom
That I hold so dear.
All expressions becoming clear.
Most of you don’t understand,
This freedom is all I have.
What is the freedom you wonder?
That has me feeling and acting?
Dance.
One simple word,
For one complex thing.
Dance.
