He’s almost like my twin.
His laughter could light up the biggest city
and cry could make you weak.
He twirls my hair to go to sleep
and sucks my thumb the same.
Morning comes in with the some
Phoenix is his name.
Evening goes with the moon
Still he lays with me.
Hushabies he falls asleep
The same song I always sing
He’s my everything
