The bitter sweet sting of regret brings relief to her mind
As blood and tears wash away down the drain
They take with them the painful memories he left behind
And leave her only empty scars
However, these scars are far from empty
If you look deeply you will see
They are overflowing with constant reminders of what was
Of everything she has lost
These scars which once brought her relief now leave her broken entirely
Forever shattered with the knowing that she-and only she-
is to blame for her own misfortune
