Sun in My Day

Sun rises
bringing with it the first sounds of day.
Waking and rousing,
pulling and coaxing
it tears me from my bed.
Sun peeks
bringing with it the warm heat of the day.
Illuminating and brightening,
playful and inviting
it begs me to come outside.
Sun sets
bringing with it the cool sanctuary of night.
Peaceful and quiet,
restful and sleepy
it gently pushes me back to bed.
