To My Cookie
The person who made me realize what my life was missing.
He really did much more than that, he showed me my life.
He was the one who taught me to be spontaneous and giddy.
He was the one who made me happy when all I felt was pity.
He was the one who warmed my hands when they turned white.
And he was the one who kissed the lonely phone goodnight.
He was the one who held me when I was sad.
He was the one who tried to impress my Dad.
He was the one who protected me from the loud noise.
He was the one who put me before all of the boys.
He was the one I always called when I cried.
He was the one who always tried to hide.
He was the one who was special in every way.
And he is the one who used to complete me everyday.
