Lost in Love

People change. I need
to grasp that concept.
But what do you do
when the person you
love is changing the
most.
He used to be the
perfect guy for me.
We were two fish out
of water looking for a
lagoon to flutter our
fins in. We found that
lagoon. But he swam
so deep I lost him.
I still search for that
boy, that boy I once
knew. Back when we
were close. Back when
we were so inseparable.
Back when we were the
best of friends. Back
when love swallowed us
whole.
