Nonsensical Philosophy

Deceitful Truth, Worthless Gold
Delightful Despair, Precious Mold
Demonic Angels, Burning Cold
Definite Doubt, Silence Told

Iron birds, sinking higher
Above a land of frozen fire
Purely Fiction, where reality lies
Looking out at subterranean skies
In its smooth orbit, the Earth staggers,
Stopped in its tracks by harmless daggers
Where time will twist and space will bend,
To understand, you need not comprehend,
We live in a place that is uninhabitable,
In a kingdom mere inches above the animal,
So close your mouth to speak the words,
Sever your wings, to soar like birds,
Live in the past to see things ahead,
What if we didn't have arms, and had wings instead?
I need a companion, a friend, I seek to be alone,
Solitary, in a cage of muscle and bone,

Wilting Bloom, Unseen Sight
Controlled Chaos, Peaceful Fight
Tainted Bliss, Brilliant Night
Ending Eternity, Darkest Light

Anyone we ever meet, you and I,
Our mission is simple: we were born to die.
