Eagle, eagle in the sky
Thy who rent the air with cries
Who dare upon you spy?
Eagle, eagle in the sky!
A white head, brown wings
Deadly talons, she never sings
Silent flight, may you never die,
Magnificent eagle in the sky!
A natural killer
Circling above the river
There ain’t a sliver
Of chance that a fish should escape
A five foot nest of twigs
Perfect for hatching chicks
They mate for life
Until one dies
Eagle, eagle in the sky!
Magnificent, proud, awesome
Oh, eagle, eagle!
Powerful, mighty, strong
Fly on, eagle!
