Apocryphilia Poem- A Flabbergasted Tooth Fairy
The room isn’t pink like sweet cotton candy,
the room isn’t messy like a carnival,
the room is far from cuddly.
Where are the plush bears,
the raggedy dolls, and sky high bunkbeds?
There are no trinkets,
no lava lamp, and no backpacks.
Nothing is right.
This tooth is unlike any other,
why is there silver lodged deep in its nooks,
why is there yellow creeping up on its sides?
Why did it crumble as if there were an earthquake in his mouth?
Something I have never seen before.
What is this coat of white gunk?
Since when could teeth be black!
How is this possible!
I won’t do it,
oh no I won’t.
My money is for the little kids,
who leave me miniature teeth.
This must be a mistake!
I wont take this tooth,
I refuse to look at it anymore.
I’m leaving with nothing,
and leaving him nothing.
