mom,?
You'll say, "I don't believe"
And for me
It'll fell like a brick on the lungs
Air will flee from the beating chest
Compress the rib cage
Flatten the heart
Till there's nothing left
I'll scream shouts of pain
That cry for a halt in
This pain-staking pattern
That pulls your skin away from
My flesh
That wants nothing more than to hold itself close to you
Cradle you in your pain
My own body that wants to fling itself
Into the crowd that yells,
"death"
Crucify myself so you may understand
What salvation is
(but I cant be as strong as him
cant love as deep as him
cant save your soul, like he did)
But because I cant, he did
And now…
You can see what true love is
You can understand what peace is
You may know that life isn't just a path to death
But that death for you will not exists
Your life here, to be replaced with eternal life in heaven
You are given the chance to lay your head against he who gave
His all
For you, and the multitudes
So you'll say "I don't believe"
And I'll cry, "If you cant hear my voice, then listen to his"
