Fearful Heart
December 15, 2008
I've tried to believe in people from the very start.
But in this chest of mine beats a fearful heart.
Too scared to trust, too cautious to live,
too frightened to just go out on that limb.
Lately it feels like I'm just going through the motions.
To be honest, I'm getting sick of all this commotion.
I want things to be peaceful, no more of this upheaval.
I don't think I can take this anymore.
Breathin's such a chore.
