Looking down from the attic
I see the street.
Looking down from a boat
I see the sea.
Looking down from my head
I see my feet.
And looking down from above
Is where you’ll find me.
I look down from the sky
And I see all the strife
The killing of a person,
The theft of a life,
And while I think of all the pain
In this big bad world,
I fly off into the sunset
With my wings unfurled.
