Look at me, I said
She hesitated but with a lugh
Pink wasn't always her favorite color
But red was.
My moccasins were brand
New, so smooth.
She sat in front of me
Laughing at my jokes
Our smiles always meant
Something to us. I've known
Her for some months
She's my best friend.
Oh how I miss her.
Shades of baby blue and white
The sun never looked better
We are always best friends forever.
