Glares fueled by years of bottled up resentment
pierce their hearts
In agony, they find a way to continue
an unbearable existence,
constantly pondering what could have,
would have been
Regret fuels their fear of old wounds reopening
Fear fuels their hate, a distorted love,
leading to unnecessary tragedy
“Goodbye hate, Farewell love,” they murmur, embracing apathy.
