Music is so powerful
Yet sometimes quiet
It has a curing capability
That is like no other
It restores relief
While raising belief
That anything is possible
Music silently speaks to my soul
It submerges my sorrows
It steadies myself
Its wonderful beat
Is what puts me on my feet
Until the day is complete
Music is sweet like a cake
That appeals to everyone
It encourages one
To shine in the sun
And be the best they can be
