Her Guardian Angel

Guarding here
in the night,
stands an angel
still and white
She watches over
this lost soul,
this sacred ground,
this hollow hole
Waiting, watching
for the time,
the angel
waits upon her shrine
While around it
flowers wither,
she won't move
she must stay with her
For she guards
a young girl's soul,
never leaving
and believing
That one day
she will arrive
at Heaven's gates
and she will strive
to spread her wings,
take off,
and fly
