Glasses may improve your vision
But they cannot help you see
You cling to your religion
But it will not set you free

You follow paths that others set
But you never carve your own
Paint pictures of invented gods
So you won’t go alone

You claim to be in endless flight
But you fly on plastic wings
Thinly veiled and ill conceived
Like all synthetic things
