Two-Sided
Though she smiles in the day
 She cries through the night
 Though he promised to stay
 He’s always in flight
Though they say they had fun
 Their eyes disagree
Though she acts like it’s done
 She still pays the fee
 Though everyone likes him
 He hides his true life
Though they seem a little dim
 They’re sharper than a knife
 Though she acts so tough
 She’s broken inside
Though he says he’s said enough
The rest he wants to confide
 Though she’s calm and collected
 Her heart’s screaming in mute
 Though he’s never affected
 He cries for the cute
Though they act like they care
 They never shed a tear
 Though life isn’t fair
 That’s not why we're here.
