SUNDER

December 13, 2007
By Melinda Cohoon, Tigard, OR

Tears coiling down her virgin cheeks
She is in a sunder of whirling twine losing all her divine
Praying and Hoping

Her arms are stained with old blood
She is craving more of yesterdays pain
Bleeding and Weeping

She realizes even more as each second passes that they are all gone
Gone because of what had been done
Contemplating and Wishing

She feels like her heart is boiling with loneliness
She craves to be in Heaven where everyone else went
Isolated and Abandoned

Seperated because of the wars of brothers
Her whole world dissolved into nothing
Vanishing and Devoured

She is empty and cold inside
Her life is being erased
Missing and Bare

Her eyes look famished for her losts
She searches for her absent soul
Wondering and Starving

She comes to the end of the road.............
