I got the 12 o'clock in the afternoon blues
Sittin' in the classroom
Countin' seconds on the clock
Tick-tock
As the teacher drones on in non melodious tones
I proceed to check my phone
and discover there's no signal in the zone
Just as my head starts to droop
The teacher swoops by
and taps me on my shoulder
eyelids feelin' like boulders
I got the 12 o'clock in the afternoon blues
Sittin' in the classroom
Coutin' seconds on the clock
Tick-tock
