depression takes a hold of me

ill sit here in my corner
ill sit here all alone
just listening to my music
trying to block out the world
they say such mean words
they will never know how much it hurts
they can never fully understand what i feel inside
im forever haunted by the word they speak
this depression has taken its hold on me
it got a tight grip and wont let go
this depression is making me insane
and you will never know the pain i feel
so as you all go on and live your life
ill just be sitting here in my corner
listening to my music
hiding from the world
