Sunset
Shining bright
Warm and welcoming
Bringing happiness to you
Peaceful serenity as it sets
Makes the sky a divine sight
Sunlight rays radiating the earth before it
Sun shinging so bright in the evening light
The last trace of sun disappears from your sight
When it's gone all that's left is a black darkness.

I decided to write about the sun because that is what makes me feel at home. When i first found out that i was moving i couldn't stand it. But when I looked into the sunset it made everything go away, and so calm. So when the teacher asked us to write a 10 Line poem, I chose this. Knowing that I would know exactly what to say. From this I hope kids like me, going through a difficult time, can also find something that makes them feel better, and temporarily get you away from your hassels and problems. Making everything okay.
