True Love
There they were, at the docks
An old yet new place
Time had stopped, even clocks
Him and her in embrace
Evil lie hidden deep
Neither saw where it sleep
Or bounty it want reap
It came as evil thoughts
Of infidelity
Things that would make them lost
Acts that make them guilty
If done to become wrong
Would have broke her and him
But their love was so strong
The evil thoughts were dim
And they were pushed aside;
Love’s what evil can’t take
Even if evil tried
It will not ever break
They will always be there
Him and her side by side
Their true love very rare
Each other as their guide
