How much of our lives would we change if we knew, down to the exact second, the time we were going to die?

In a dystopian future where the life spans of humans are artificially controlled, time has become a precious concept too strange to comprehend. Numbers have become names. The date you will die is your only identity. When the challenges of this artificial life catches up to James, he struggles to accept his fate in the time of death. And when a curious girl approaches him and threatens to tear apart everything he knows, James must make the most important decision of his life.
