When you lose someone, it’s like you’re falling. Falling through blinding darkness, darkness so bright you can’t draw your breath. Emotions come boiling over, you lose track of what is real, and you suffocate in your anger and grief. I never imagined life without you, always thought you’d be there, to the end, laughing and telling stories and being your funny self.
