The Sunset
As the day slowly starts to end and night begins to appear, the sun sinks and disappears beneath the trees. Oranges and pinks color the sky with different shades of pastels. Stars slowly start to appear while sleep beckons to the people. I see birds fly across the sky and clouds calmly float by unaware of their surroundings. The quietness diminishes the city and the streets become empty. Buildings loom tall and firm as the shadows of the trees become visible. City streets are lit with neon signs of fast food restaurants and department stores. A weary city falls dormant awaiting tomorrow’s sunrise.
